DISSECTION OF A SHEEPS HEART
Aim: To successfully dissect a sheep's heart.
The pericardium (like a balloon) protects the heart.
- Forceps
- Needles
- Pans and Pads
- Probes
- Dissecting Scissors
- Scalpels
- Blades
- Newspaper
Method:
- Get some newspaper to line the table.
- Put on gloves to protect our hands.
- Get the sheep heart and lay it flat on the newspaper-covered table.
- Grab the scalpel.
- Cut the top layer/s of muscle/s, The scissors might be better.
- Then identify the heart chambers and the other interior things.
- Discard the heart
- Clean up the utensils and take the newspaper off the table.
- Take off gloves and scrub the living crap out of the table.
- Also, wash your hands.

Discussion:
The Results were great, it was awesome to explore and play with the tubes. I identified the right atrium, the left atrium, right ventricle and left ventricle. I learnt that valves are really small, The arteries were large and they take blood away from the heart. I put my phalanges (fingers) though three of the arteries.🍖🐑
