Our Stone Age Art

Our Stone Age Art

In social studies, we have been learning and researching about cave people. My group and I were learning about the Neolithic age. Today we painted with our hands and sticks to paint a story and to paint what we think the Neolithic people would have done.

In the Neolithic age, the people used dirt or charcoal with spit or animal fat to paint on walls of caves.
My friends and were painting people and doing handprints. I interpreted that handprints mean you own that or that it's yours. The people that I drew were my friends.

How well did we work as a team?
This time we did poorly with timing as one person was away and another student didn't know how to do much, nor the dishes but we help them out.

How did the product taste?
I didn't like the smell and was not keen on trying it but my mother liked it. The food smelt to me like cat food.

what to improve on?
We (our team) need to be quicker with setting up and managing time more efficiently.

3. Rap one rubber band on each side over all of the horizontal sticks.
4. Then place your plastic spoon on top of the horizontal sticks but in line of the vertical stick.

6. Add a big or small marshmallow to the scoop of the spoon and hold down the spoon, let it go and you've made a marshmallow catapult!

As you can see, there are a lot of numbers. Though these are our results. These numbers would eventually help us with the discussion.

Discussion:
From the average length and time, we were able to find the velocity ( the speed). Using these numbers (photos above), we were (Sam) able to calculate the averages. The averages were the most important of all because we could find out more through these numbers. Sam did her magic to smoosh all of the data into a small group of averages. As you can see, The photo under this is what the amazing Sam produced and helped us out with.
Speed= change in distance/change in time

Acceleration= change in velocity (speed)/change in time

Souvlaki

What were our challenges?
Our challenges were that were only had three people in our group so it made us go a bit slower.

How well did we work as a team?
We worked well as a team as the troubling person was away.

How did the product taste?
The product tasted great and most people seemed to like it.

what to improve on?
I don't think it could/should be improved but next time I want chicken in it instead of beef.

What ingredients did we put in our Souvlaki? Well, I put beef, lettuce, tortilla base, cheese, carrot, capsicum, coleslaw and tomatoes. I can not think what else but that was most of it.

This is not our photo, I don't have a photo of ours. Click HERE for a photo
