What is sassafras?

  A deciduous North American tree with aromatic leaves and bark. The leaves are infused to make tea or ground into filé.

Assertiveness

I learnt to just breathe when in an argument.

When I am faced with conflict from parents I am often Assertive

During the Business and Enterprise Kete, I will be able to reduce conflict by speaking calmly and state my opinions.

During the Business and Enterprise Kete, I will be able tŕo use CALM in a number of situations, for example, if someone is being none competitive.

YEEEEESSSSSSS! The end of WONDER

1. Yes, They are justified. Its the first time he stayed away from his family and staying with asshole people that like to bully him.

2. I do think that Julian and Eddie are similar in the fact that they are both bullies and both as bad as each other.

3. At the start, everyone didn't really like him because of his face. Now at the end, people have looked past his face and seen who he really is.

4. He was the bait at the school, when I say "bait" I mean he stood out and was picked on so much and downgraded, he could have dropped out like he intended but he didn't.

5. At the start of the book, he was very shy and I guess scared, now he has blossomed into a talkative young man.

6. I like Via because she is quite relatable in the way that she has a little brother that gets 99% of all of the attention.

7. I think he will have a good life here on out, everyone knows who he is and he is now pretty much famous.

Maori Medicine

Learning outcome
To understand the life of Maori prior to Europeans arriving and its connection to today's society.

What was my research about?
My research is on Maori medicine and what they used and what they healed.

Two things I found interesting.
I found interesting that they could heal eczema. Also, they used natural plants and herbs.

Two things I thought I did well.
I did well drawing and everything else.

Two things I want to do differently.
I want to so a slideshow and not do it on paper, also write more things down.

Part 6- August (245-274)

1. I think it is because there will be more people looking at him.

2. People are over the so-called 'war' and have noticed have nice and king Auggie really is.

3. I think he feels like he is already noticeable enough and doesn't need anything else on him to make him more distinctive. I think it is justified, he has gone through so much stuff the last couple months.

4. I still think that Via doesn't want to be known for the deformed brother. I think their mum is just now understanding Via and she doesn't really want her brother there.

5. I think that he believes that everyone should be acknowledged at least once in their life so they could be all understood.

6. Daisy's death was very hard on everyone and had hit me with emotions as well just reading the book.
Auggie even saw his dad cry for the first time in his life.

7. Because Miranda wanted Via to be with her boyfriend and because Vias parents were there and also Auggie was there and no one was there for Miranda.

8. I really feel bad for Miranda because her parents are asses to her and then she told to lie about Auggie being her brother so that got a lot of lies on top of her and that caused to lose Via.

Are you struggling with signs?

Hazzard:

A hazard is a danger or risk.

• The shape of a hazard sign is a triangle and has a yellow background and black lining.
• I've seen some of these signs at the park, school, roads, pools and at the beaches.
• These signs mean that there is danger around and YOU have to look out for it.
• The reason for hazard signs is to keep you safe.
• If you do not follow some hazard sign it can cause great harm or death. 

• A  mandatory sign is a must do sign.
• A mandatory sign is a blue circle with a must do the thing inside of it.
• Mandatory means that it is required by law.

prohibited signs

• Prohibited means that you can not do the things shown in the pictures or further action will be taken.
• I have seen these EVERYWHERE. Including pools, school and shopping malls.

I made my own sign, it is of none regulated shoes. 

I was just playing around with this. It's for no horsing around.

Wonder Work Part 5

1. Because it is always nerve-racking to meet your girlfriend's parents, why wouldn't he be?

2. So he shakes the dad's hand to come across as a gentleman, then hugs the mum to be friendly, after he bumps into Augie to act cool and then kisses Via on the check obviously.

3. I mean it was a good idea at the time, maybe he should have left it.

4. She feels awful because she doesn't want Auggie to go see the play as she doesn't want people to not like her 'not normal' brother. She feels this way because she doesn't want Auggie to go to the play. She is defiantly not right.

5. Every part is different in there own ways. They're all different people and all diverse sections. Also, Justine's part is not the best at grammar wise.
