10 sentences of the scariest time in my life

The scariest time in my life, It was when I was eight and it was just after Christmas of 2013. My mum asked if I wanted a rumble but we did not know it had raw egg it so I ate it. If you didn't know, I'm allergic to egg. My mouth was extremely itchy and I was swelling like a balloon, I could not breathe or talk properly. I was rushed to the hospital and since there was no air going through my body, I could not walk so I was carried inside and was put into a wheelchair. I was rushed into any available room there was because my body was shutting down fast. I had to have medication shoved down my throat to open my airway and adrenaline in an air mask to also help me keep alive. I was there for the whole day until they thought I was safe and out of the way from death's door to go home. That day was five years ago and I have not had an anaphylactic shock since. I'm now fine and alive (obviously), I'm still suffering from a lot more illnesses and I am slowly getting through it. Today I am still going strong and apart from a fair bit of health issues, I'm fine.

James has found a dead body!

James has just walked out of taco bell to slowly stroll to his 1996 Mustang. It took him just over one hour to drive to his Los Angles mansion. He lived with his Father Jack Johnson Jr. James was 25 years old and lived with his dad to maintain the mansion. 

 James walked into his house and as soon as he walked it felt airy and weird. So he quickly looked around everywhere and he didn't notice anything so he walked into the lounge. He jammed on his guitar and then played his PlayStation 4 slim. He played Call Of Duty for 3 hours until it was 6pm, he went to go have a Warm shower. He stepped out onto the wet, moist floor and got dressed. It still felt airy so he went to have a good look around. he stumbles into his dad's room but he wasnt there. James thought this weird because his dads work clothes were still on his bed folded nicely.

What did James find? what James was about to discover would be horrific. He slowly stepped inside of his dad's large walk-in closet he turned left and seen blood everywhere and then he looked closer, he saw his dad's foot laying there is a bunch of clothes on the floor. he hesitated for a minute but decided to pick the clothes up from the ground. He found his father lifeless on the ground and tried to resuscitate him but it was too late. He called the police, they arrived in 10 minutes to James's house.
They said there was no way to bring him back to life so they advised him to call a mortician and to how he was killed.

 My challenge was mainly welding but I did it.
How did I overcome my challenge?
I overcame my challenge by getting someone to help me and watching other people on what to do.
Did I weld?
Yes, I did. I didn't get a proper photo of me welding.

What did I think of welding?
I was extremely scared at first but then I thought it was actually really fun.
What have I gotten better at?
I got better at welding as the weeks went through.

For the rest of the year, all of the year 7-10 student are doing a passion project. I have chosen to do discovery (it's basically science). I am hopefully going to dissect a rat but it is not confirmed yet. We got to choose what I wanted to do, it just depends on cost.

step by step on what I am going to do:

1. get some newspaper to line the table
2. Put on gloves to protect our hands
3. Get the rat and lay it flat on the newspaper covered table
4. Grab the scalpel
5. Cut the top layers of skin
6. Cut the under layers (with the scissors) of skin and mussel
7. Then identify the organs and the genitalia.
8. Throw the rat out or have a funeral for it
9. Clean up everything
10. Scrub the table
11. Take off gloves and scrub the hell out of our hands

Choice bored in drama

On Monday I chose to do 'my favourite actor. Today I am going to do this until it is finished. I am trying to find out about Johnny Depp, he is getting quite old now. My next step is to make a bigger and better post.

While he sat there looking at his dad, his ears lay flat on his face, tears running down his face like no other. what Simba just watched was his father die, no one should ever see that! This left an impression on Simba as he grows old. Simba meets Timon and Pumba, they are now the only thing that holds Simba together. They are Simbas ride or die, legs to a chair etc.

My city as a person

She is old, she is broken inside. Her name is Christchurch. She is over two thousand years old.

ENGLISH: Research on DragonHeart

Where and when was Dragon Heart set?🐲🐉
The movie Dragons Heart was set in 10th century England. When Dragons Heart was made they tried to make it as realistic as possible (excluding the dragon). Back in the 10th century they had no cars hence the horses.

   What was life like back then?🐓🐭🐗🐄
In the 10th century everything was different from today. there were no cars, no motels and certainty no comfy beds. You had to hunt for your own food, nothing was handed to you unless you were young or you were part of the royal family. Their villages were small, they had to hand make their clothing using whatever materials they could find 👸🤴. There was no running water and you would be lucky to get a bath once a year.

How do we see this in the movie?🗡🛡⚔🗿
We see how they live by the glimpses of the villages when they were fighting etc.

Where was Dragon Heart filmed and what history does that area have?🎎🎥
The movie was filmed in Slovak Paradise National Forest. I was not able to find history on this place, I could only find travel guides😂.

SCIENCE: Animal and plant cells

What are cells?
A cell is the smallest structure and smallest organism that functions.


Plant cells
A plant cell is very simple and basic. The cell wall is to cover the cells, the cell wall is found outside of the membrane.


Animal cells
An animal cell is a lot more complicated then a plant cell. Animal cells do not have walls at all because animals and plants are a lot different.

Today in drama we did some action games to warm up. The games we played were: copy circle, tequila and view points. We had to really had to focus on view points because we had to listen carefully. I didn't have much energy because its nearly the end of the year and we are all tired.

In Dragonheart (in this case) medium close-ups are used energetically. In this scene, Bowen is in Draco’s mouth with a sword stuck in Draco’s pellet. If Draco the dragon closes his mouth the sword will go deep into his mouth and go into his brain and kills him. Also if Draco closes him mouth Bowen will die as well. This makes the audience feel scared for both of their lives. This was so that they could have a talk and no one ending up dead.

In this scene of Dragonheart, Einon is fighting Bowen. Bowen taught Einon when he was younger and now Einon is using his knowledge against Bowen. This is an over the shoulder shot, these shots are used to see what the persons perspective and what they can see. You can see from this shot that Einon wants to over power and try be better than Bowen. Bowen would probably fell surprised and scared.








In this scene of Dragonheart, Einon is holding Kara captive. Bowen is trying to save her but if he move closer, Einon will kill her. Kara looks scared and surprised that Einon would pull a sword on her. This is a medium close up, they are used to see the expressions on characters faces. Einon looks physio and absolutely crazy, I don't think he has emotions at all.



  In this scene of Dragonheart, everyone on Bowen and Kara's side sworm Einons people to kill and/or injure them. This is a wide shot, theses are used to see all of the people or the whole scene in one shot. You can see that this scene is in the forest, im not sure if it is by the village or the castal.

The Digestive Process Of The Body

Lining in your stomach and small intestines release hormones to control your digestive system.

What is the digestive process?
It all starts when you eat food(or you drink). It first starts with your oesophagus, What is an oesophagus? the oesophagus is a squishy tube that leads food and drinks to the stomach.

After the oesophagus, food (or drink) will go to the stomach. What is a stomach?
The stomach is a weird misshaped organ that that starts the digestion stage. By the stomach, there is a duodenum. What is a duodenum? It receives partially digested food (known as chyme) from the stomach and plays a vital role in the chemical digestion of chyme in preparation for absorption in the small intestine. Many chemical secretions from the pancreas, liver and gallbladder mix with the chyme in the duodenum to facilitate chemical digestion. I got this information from the internet.

The liver is an essential organ that has many functions in the body, including making proteins and blood clotting factors, manufacturing triglycerides and cholesterol, glycogen synthesis, and bile production. The liver is a large organ that sits on the right-hand side of the belly. I got some of this information from the internet.

After the liver, it all goes into the small intestine. The small intestine lies between the stomach and the large intestine (colon). The small intestine's job (mainly) is to soak up nutrients.

The large intestine is very important. The large intestine, also known as the large bowel or colon, is the last part of the gastrointestinal tract and of the digestive system in vertebrates. Water is absorbed here and the remaining waste material is stored as faeces before being removed by defecation/egestion.
